EPS Vector Graphics Support in FotoWare 7.0

In order to support indexing of document content and generation of high-quality thumbnails and previews of EPS vector graphics in FotoWare 7.0, we will support two options for our customers:

• Adobe Distiller Server will be used by Index Manager and Color Factory in the process to convert EPS files to PDF, which are then natively indexed by our applications. Adobe Distiller Server must be installed on each server where Color Factory and Index Manager work with EPS files. More information, license terms and prices can be obtained from Adobe Systems.
• PSStill will be used by Index Manager or Color Factory if Adobe Distiller is not found on the server. PSStill can be licensed for server use, provided that a license is purchased for each user of the system. More information, license terms and prices can be obtained from PSStill's web site.

Customers that need support for EPS vector graphics must purchase a license for one of the above mentioned applications and install them on the FotoWare server(s) that process these files.
