FotoWare 6.0 Facelift to feature Zoom tool

The FotoWeb 6.0 Facelift will contain a new Zoom tool that allows users to effortlessly zoom into high-resolution files without downloading all the picture data. The tool will be easily available from the Grid and also on the Preview pages. Below you can see an early version of this tool (please be aware that the user interface will change somewhat before the final release):

The new zoom tool in FotoWeb 6.0 Facelift

The tool will have the following functionality:

  • Zoom into pixel level on any image.
  • Zoom in/out using mouse buttons, selection rectangles, and mouse scroll wheel
  • Navigator map allows user to move easily around in the picture
  • Supported in all browsers with Flash player installed (>90% of desktop computers)
  • Virtually all file formats supported. No file preparation necessary. FotoWeb uses the original file directly and creates zoomed images dynamically.
  • Smooth operation also on slow connections.

    Hi,

    Have you thought about allowing the users to add annotation? We are currently using zoomify to do this but if you build it in, then we have no need to use this 3rd party product.

    Or you can integrate zoomify?
